| Not sure as to the length, I tried to unscrew mine but it was kinda tight so I decided it was too much trouble because I couldn't do it by hand. Mine is definately just for looks as well. You should get one if you find out the correct length. They are nice to do business with. My gun was here four days after I ordered it.
Here are some pics that hopefully help ya out in installing a sling. All you have to do is remove the buckle from one end. Loop the sling through the
ring on the end of the stock and feed the leather end through metal
keeper. Then take the one end that is left and feed through the
stock and reattach the buckle. |
