Well, that stuff I bought has been sitting around for 64 years. I haven't had any misfires with mine. I shot the Turk ammo out of my Turk Mauser, and my K98. It shot pretty good out of my Turk Mauser at 100 yds with iron sights. My K98 Mauser shot it high consistently, but I was able to make a pretty good group under 1.5 inches for sure, probly closer to 1 inch, I would have to guess at least 10 inches high from the bulls, and a touch to the right. It didn't hit my paper target, but hit my backdrop paper. I was able to put some on paper compensating for the high shot, and got 3 shots within 3 inches. I'm sure if you have a scope on it you should be able to get it dialed.

Check w\Layne over @ Tennessee Gun Parts , he carries taller ft. sights for Mausers to bring the POI down to where you want it.
