magazine problems

Just received 3 brand new PT-92 9mm mags from Taurus. These are the 17 round mags w/ the cheap looking yellow follower. After trying way too long, & wasting way too much time, I cannot load more than 11-12 rounds in them. The first 6-7 go in OK, but it gets progressively harder after that. Sometimes, the top round is so loose that it falls out if I tip the mag over--even though I can't load more than 11-12. Calls to Taurus failed to get results-they said I should load the most I could & let them sit for a while. That's unacceptable. I have many mags, from many sources, & NONE of them were so useless when new. Opinions please. Thanks

Totally unacceptable, calling Taurus should have brought an immediate "customer satisfaction guaranteed" type response. Call them back and don't take no for an answer, tell them you want some new magazines that don't suck.

Wow that is really unacceptable!!! I cant believe that!! I have had some problems with my Taurus mag's as well. except when I load it full the top round always sits lower and has some trouble feeding. But it is only the first round. After that it is great. But I am sorry to hear about you brand new mags doing so poorly!! Like Taurus Fan said I would call Taurus and raise some stuff to get some new mags ASAP!! Good luck to ya!!
