over weight???

I have a savage 110, in .308. What bullet weight should I shoot out of this (heavy) barrel? 150, 180, 165???? Is there a good "grain" for this rifling? I thought I would ask be for sighting it in...By the way, I buy commercial/surplus ammo, no hand loading here..I don't know what the twist rate is, but I am sure it would like some weight over the other.

The rate of twist is most likely 1 in 11 or 1 in 12. The best bet would be a 165 or 168 grain bullet for the best accuracy. Hornady I believe makes ammunition in these weights.
