1903 colt

Hey guys,and gals.I'm new to Gun and Game Forum.I have a colt 1903 pocket hammerless and I don't know how to take it apart for cleaning.anybody out there know how?

To disassemble the pistol, one must retract the slide, lock it open with the safety, then rotate barrel out of engagement with the frame, and then remove barrel and slide. Automatic slide stop (hold open) device was also incorporated, with the visible lever located at the right side of the frame, above the triggerguard. I would not go any further unless you are a Gunsmith !

Thanks mooseman684,that did the trick.I bought it at a gunshow pretty cheap{I think} and it is a nice little plinker.

I have a 1903 vest pocket Colt, it is valued at $450.00, in nice condition, the clip is a two tone original, with no wear marks, (sat in a drawer for ovr 50 yrs.) I traded a .38 snuby for it.
