AMD parts kit for an AK?

I love the look of the AMD style AK's with it's folding stock, exposed gas tube, and that signature fore grip. I don't however want to dump another $700 for an AK variant... just not that big of a priority.

But I do think an exposed gas tube, and that fore grip would look bad ass on my SAR-1 with it's folding stock. I tried looking around on google, but as of yet I've been unable to find out if you can buy just the fore grip and install it on an AK.

A little help?

Pathfinder is the barrel length legal with the original AMD flash hider?

Flash hider is welded in place. Over all barrel length with the flash hider is 16.5 inches.
