| Model 25 Question I have a model 25 12 gauge. I got the gun for free because it had been left out by a buddy's stepdad. The gun got rained on and possibly run over or smacked a telephone pole or something. Anyway the barrel was bent and the entire gun was covered in rust. My grandpa straightened the barrel as best he could and sanded it all down and reblued it with a cold blue of some kind. It looks better now than it did though obviously not perfect. The gun shoots okay but when I load the magazine tube shells get stuck in it. They get stuck so tight the only way to remove them is to disassemble the gun and push them out from the front end. It doesnt so it with every shell just some. I tried sanding the inside of the breech end of the mag tube thinking that maybe there was some rust built up in there from sitting out. This didnt help. Any thoughts? If not I'll just keep shooting it one shell at a time. |

| The magazine tube may be out of round or the magazine follower could be bent. The gun has seen some rough duty. The model 25 was similar to the model 12 but was not a takedown design. Magazine may not be the same as a model 12 as my model 12 mag. tube is threaded at the breach end. |
