I don't understand this at all.If the action is loose in the stock,it can't support the action and will definitly lead to inaccuracy.That is why you glass bed the action.Pillar bedding also supports the action and if the action doesnt tighten down on the pillars,they are installed wrong. sam.

Unless you know what you are doing,I mean really know,you better leave any barrel lapping to the pro,s.You can ruin a barrel in a heartbeat trying that.And if the hole is drilled wrong in the stock,the only thing cutting clearance for the surge block could possibly do is leave the action loose in the stock.If the hole is the problem,fix the hole or replace the stock. sam.
