I feel sorry for Ruger that this has happened yet there takeing care of it at no cost to the one's that own them.
Plus throwing in an extra magazine is a nice thing to do.

The SR9 I bought my wife for her birthday is one that is being recalled.

That is the "plus side." And I told her she could carry my CZ 75 Compact 9mm while hers was gone.

The "down side" is I probably won't ever get my CZ back.
