| Registered User | explosive bullets?? i saw a video on youtube were a guy took primers from a black powder on the end of his pellets so wen they hit they would pop and they seemed to do alot of damage, but is this legal for say,, pest control? |

| Senior Member | Danger Legal or not it is not wise to do this type experiment. There are no replacements or cures for certain injuries and legally you might open up a can of disasterous worms if something goes wrong on the receiving end of the shot. |

| Lost in the Ozone Again ![]() | This is one of those just plain stupid ideas. You gain nothing ballistically for pest control or anything else. It may actually hurt the effectiveness of the bullet. If you want an "explosive" bullet, buy a .22 rifle and get the CCI TNT's in the 22 mag (or similar), or the CCI prefragmented 22 LR rounds.
