| Senior Member | Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1???? Ok, so dad picked up an enfield a few weeks ago for 85 dollars. No. 4 Mk. 1. He has yet to shoot it, i just did yesterday and loved it. Just wondering if he got a deal, and any history behind these guns. I must say i love those sites on that thing, they sure are great. Thanks for any info. |

| Member | Sounds like a good deal for only $85 that's what they cost when they were new! You'll need to figure out the manufacturer, check the numbers and see if anything matches, take some pictures and post them etc. |

| Senior Member | What's the rifle look like? Full front and rear handguards, or is it (shudder) Sporterized? (pics?) Sporters are pretty common and cheap, if you have an original, unaltered #4 and you got it for that price, then you stole it. |
