I just snagged a nice SVT-40

I really squirmed a bit at hitting the "I'll take it" response on this one. A kilobuck is a lot, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. I guess the wife's new CQB AR build will have to wait a few months.

Unlike your 401(K), that SVT40 will continue to go up in value. That's what I keep telling my wife.

I've seen this rifle at the gun shows and have never inquired about one. Now that I know what it is and have taken a closer look, I have to have one. I'm never going to have a retirement fund!!! Unless I can count my collection as an investment. Since I'm single, I guess I'm the only one I have to convince. Wow, that was easy!
