Of all the s/a's I've owned, the Sig is the gun that I have that I always "shoulda" had....Great pistol IMHO.

I'm a great wheelgun fan -- reliable, strong, not ammo sensitive. Primary home defense guns are wheelguns. I'd suggest you try one (maybe .38/.357) before committing. Think about the purpose of your gun (home/car defense, CCW, etc.). Also go shoot several (many ranges rent firearms) to see which one "fits" well.

Realize that autos take more training (especially when they don't do what you want them to) and don't blow this off. Generally, the more levers the greater the chance one of them isn't where you may want it to be (given good familiarity, this can work to your advantage if BG gets the gun).

Hi cap is great, but if you use the first couple of rounds to hit the target this is better and the rest is a moot point (the "if you can't solve the problem in 6 shots you can't solve the problem" quote -- not always right but mostly more right than wrong).
