| Hey guys. I liked the advice on the revolvers, did some research and sounded like a nice choice to start with. Got a Smith & Wesson 686. I like the 6" barrel for accuracy. I heard it was very reliable and takes .38 and .357 cal. ammo. So, as nathangdad suggested, I could start with the .38 and work my way through the ranks.
I haven't taken it to the range, but am really looking forward to it. I'm going to learn all about the gun, give it a good cleaning and head out. Thanks for all the help and recommendations-you guys probably helped me make the best choice. |
