Thanks. I love these projects when the stock is a little neglected but has a lot of hidden character. Most of the new aquisitions will remain as-is, but this one was chipped and flaking, and needed a makeover. Took care of a couple of rust spots on the underside of the barrel and then spot re-blued.

Almost as nice looking as the M39...

Don't worry about the name being Russian; each firearm has a name and will tell you when she's ready.

Mine are listed below in chronological order:

1943 m91/30 ex-sniper: "Bethany"
Century CETME: "Jessica"
GLOCK 27: "Lily"
1943 m91/59: "Svetlana"
1938 m91/59: "Ivanova"
AES-10: (un-named, as of yet... but I thought I heard her whisper to me last time and was thinking of naming her "Whisper"... I'll have to shoot her some more to really get her talkin' to me)

For Dawn it is the beginning of a new day. Dawnskia gives it a Russian flavor.

So now it's Natalia the (1947 M44) Camo beauty and...

... Dawneska the Long Lean Redhead (1937 91/30).

Thanks again.

Geo...she looks like a Tiffany to me. Slender lines garnished with red "hair" and smooth grain.
(Just thinking out loud...err typing...ah, you know what I mean)

Thanks guys. I love restoring the stocks to what they should have been, and maybe they were originally. Hard to tell after several rearsenallings, but it's safe to say beauty was not the primary goal origianally.

No, I think I agree with Geo, she totally looks like a "Dawn" (character that my friend is dressed as), don't you agree?:
