New Cetme owner

I just purchased mine a few weeks ago for $515, with two magazines, which I thought wasn't bad. I added the green stock set ($10 from cheaper than dirt) and really like the way it looks. I fired about 100 rounds without any problems. I see others are having problems with the scope mount (I've been through two already). I can't wait to get out to the range again.

Wilkommen! welcome to the CETME family. Hey does anybody know where to get those cool "CETME Owners Group" decals, or anything about the COG?

The CETME fellers over on Gunboardsdotcom were doing the COG thing. Don't know if it's still going, as Perro and a few others drifted away from The Way, and sold their Spanish Ladies.

Sold there Spanish Ladys!?! Why would any one do that?! lol Welcome to the forums cnitsch. It sounds like you got a deal! As for the scope mount....I think the sturdiest I've heard about would be Big Dog's....Maybe he might let you in on his secret technology....The claw type is what I'm playing with...it was study, but not anymore. Plus I'm dealing with more server problems with it now, so I won't be getting back to my claw mount R&D for a while. lol Don't be worried by my more server problems comment either, that was more of a self inflicted thing. lol

Thanks

Thanks. Here is a pic...not a very good one. I'll try to take some better ones eventually. By the way, I just got an NCStar "MP5" mount and it seems to fit perfectly. I got it from M1Surplus.com for $15. Of course I'll have to see how it stays when I attach a red dot to it and fire it a few times.

Looks good cnitsch!

If I recall correctly, the all-black synthetics are referred to (lovingly) as "Black Widows".
