What do you do with your AR ???

YES I KNOW YOU SHOOT THEM & the second amendment sais you can have & collect them !!!!! I see a lot of picts of collapasable buttstocks, shortened barrels and stuff like that but what do you do with your rifle?? Do you have a intended purpose ?? I know some of you guys collect but I was just curious. Please do not think I am making fun of anyone or collecting data for the A.T.F......I am just curious. After a few posts I will tell you my intended rifle build as well but if you look at my pict thread it should not be to hard to figure out.

Thats tragic you lost everything in that boating accident. I took all of mine down to a police turn in a few years back after the Media informed me that Guns and any images of the same are bad, evil things to be avoided at all costs lest someone get hurt.

Wow, me to. I even took all my Gun magazines because they said that the images were bad also.
After that I deciede to take some classes on handle a mugging and what not.
Next Monday I'm starting a class on how to take a beating from a mugger, and 10 ways to give up your wallet. It is all very exciting!!!

All these tragic stories are depressing me I too am suffering from a total loss. I had to sell them all at a gunshow I happened across. I don't remember the name of the place. I just happened to be carrying my rifles in the car and I saw the show and got a hankering to buy a PS 3, soooo.... I had to sell them all to fuel growing video game addiction and then I had to buy fuel for the car.

I just received a Daniel Defense single point end plate and a Gen II ASP single point sling. Sadly I have nothing to attach them to. However I would highly recommend them to anyone else

Wow, this is just sad, I empathize with all of you. Up until last month I was an avid gun collector, but do to a house fire isolated in my gun safe, I am no more...

Side note: Gun safe for sale, some slight charing on the inside, everything else works fine.

I enjoy the sight, feel and sounds of my rifles. I've got an M4-type setup as well as a 24" bbl longer-range AR. Both are very enjoyable.

For me, part of it is being a part of tradition of owning a firearm in this country. Another part is protection. Another part is simply having, to me, a luxury item.

What do I do with my AR? Well after I made sweet love to it one night, it just upped and left me before I woke up. Took all the magazines and optics with it too. I'll never own another AR again. That was my first and only.... *sigh*

OOh I hate liberals (not saying oejeffreyis one) trying to ban collapsible butt stocks.
Has nothing to do with making the gun "more evil/lethal/etc"

You wouldnt by a car with a seat that you couldnt adjust to your body size for comfort and ease of use, so why by a gun that you cant adjust to your arm size etc.

Such mis informed hype.

Sorry Im off topic.
Me and my guns where on the boat with Larry.
