| Senior Member | Crappy Scope Mount I recently bought a quick detach scope mount for my saiga. It is one of the original Izmash russian built ones, but after a few shots it has some very noticable wobble to the mount. I didn't even get to sight it in before I noticed how bad the wobble was. I'm pretty bummed. I think I'm in the market for one of the fixed position mounts. Anybody got any opinions on a scope mount. The Rings also don't close up completely on the scope. So there are gaps on each side. ![]() |

Trader Rating: (0) | did you try to adjust the tension on the release lever on that mount? gaps on the rings are normal.

| Senior Member ![]() | Same on my AK, Go to Kalinka Optics and click on the manuals link. There is a manual on the mount there.

| Senior Member | Thanks Guys. I should have titled the post "I'm stupid Help me fix this nice Scope Mount" I went to the Kalinka optics website and read the manual and had it fixed in about 2 minutes. The manual that came with mine was horrible. She's as snug as a bug in a rug now. |

| Senior Member | I've got a quick-disconnect rail-mount on the way also for my AES-10. I'll make sure to check out that manual prior to mounting. Your mistake may have helped quite a few other folks; good on ya!
