Mystery Para

I have a Para that I inherited from my grandpa a few years ago that I need help identifying. It is identical to a Colt Officer and is even stamped Tank Officer's .45 ACP on one side and Officer's ACP on the other. For the life of me I cannot find one like it anywhere. Anybody know anything about it? It's a great pistol, and a joy to shoot.

It's pretty much identical to the P12, but instead of Para-Ordnance its stamped with Tank Officer

Here's the pics. The big difference is that my pistol doesn't have the flared ejection port as do most of the Para's that I've seen. Is it possible to mate a different slide with a Para frame?

Were they through Para, or just aftermarket?
