Its a good gun, but I would first make sure that the youth model isn't too small for you first.

step up to the adult model, u would probley out grow the youth size in a year or two.

i've heard many good things about the partner pump....... however, i would give this one serious thought YOUTH MOSSBERG CROWN BANTAM SHOTGUN same price, has a 10 year warranty instead of two year like the partner, numerous accessories available comes with 3 choke tubes whereas the partner comes with one and you can easily order in a full size barrel, slug barrel and a full size stock for it.......... parts are readily available if needed from several sources.
