Yea, that's Bob Munden. Always on the Shooting USA show. His wife is a crack shot also... He also knows how to put a trigger job on a six gun and if you have the patience, and can wait, he'll do yours if you have one. I think he charges something like $245 bucks or something like that?

I found it very interesting how, for the balloon shot, he squeezed the trigger for the first shot then, keeping it squeezed, fanned the hammer for the second. What a clever way to get that second shot off in the least amount of time. The second shot is limited in speed only by the speed of the hammer falling forward. He controls every other element. He really has the ergonomics of it down to a science.

Howdy,

We have another trick shot specialist in the Midwest. He is Bill Ogelvy, from Springfield, Illinois. He can almost duplicate everything that Bob does. He does 5 ballons in 3 seconds. He is a great Cowboy Action Shooter. His company does single action jobs, in Springield. It amazing to watch these guys in action(ain't never gonna be that fast-no how, no way!!!!)

Just curious if anyone has taken the time to find and go to Bob Munden's website?
Anyhow, he's got a link to a page he calls Notes from our founding fathers. I linked it below. Anyhow, I found the quotes very informative and interesting to read. Some I knew and had heard while others I didn't and hadn't. Check it out.

I especially like Thomas Jefferson's quoting of 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria on Crimes and Punishment. Well to be quite honest, there are many others I feel the same way about. I might have to send these to every flipping member of the House and Senate of this country. Maybe we should all bombard them with them?

I have seen his show where he shot an asprin out of the air as well as shooting ballons at 300 yds with both his .45LC and and a .acp. I would have to say he is for real Irish.

About 10 years ago I called the 800 # on a Sunday morning to order Bob's tapes. His wife answered the phone and said he is having breakfest,I'll get him for you. He LOVES to talk. By the time we got finished, his breakfest must have been ice cold. The man can work wonders with a six gun.

look in the menu in the vid that billy posted, some Italian lookin guy that does 5 balloons in 0.88 seconds, Ogelvy is snails pace next to that, dont get me wrong though, I've shot with Bill at competitions and hes an excellent shooter.
