Thanks. I love these projects when the stock is a little neglected but has a lot of hidden character. Most of the new aquisitions will remain as-is, but this one was chipped and flaking, and needed a makeover. Took care of a couple of rust spots on the underside of the barrel and then spot re-blued. Almost as nice looking as the M39...

Thanks guys. I love restoring the stocks to what they should have been, and maybe they were originally. Hard to tell after several rearsenallings, but it's safe to say beauty was not the primary goal origianally.
