Gentlmen;

I have just found a T38 Carbine in 6.5 Jap that needs a stock to be shootable at all.

Does anyone know where I can buy either a old issue stock or a new semi-finished stock?

Hi Forrest I am afraid that a T38 stock may be hard to find. Good luck. I have been looking for a original 30-40 Krag stock for years.

Post your question over on the Gunboards.com Japanese forums. Gunboards is a Milsurp collectors website and the members of the Japanese weapons forum there are among the most knowledgable you will find anywhere.
Someone may have/or know of a stock set for sale. Also in recent years there have been some repro Arisaka stocks produced. Mostly for the T-99. Not sure if any T-38C. But those guys will know.
Beyond that, Numrich Arms or watching Ebay and the gun auction websites is your best bet.
