Mountain Sheep - Southern Nevada

I got a picture April 11 in Southern Nevada - "Valley of Fire" of a mountain sheep about 150 yards out. I don't know nothing about them but here's the pic guys.

Do these things turn white or am I thinking about something else?

In the two times I have been to the valley of fire I have only seen rodents and birds. It's a beautiful place for sure. Nice pic Killer

Here's a blow up different position, unfortunately, some camera shake.

I talked with one of the Limo drivers out there and he says not to uncommon to see mountain sheep while ATV riding. I would think they are very hard to hunt as a big game animal.

As long as I'm showing pic's here's where this animal lives.

I think I mentioned on some other post about the Mormons in 1856 losing a 22 wagon train of gold to an Indian ambush and it never being found. It's worth over 30 million now. The Indians took the horses and burned the wagons so the gold is close by the ambush wherever that was. From what research I've done the gold could be in the Valley of Fire.

I would imagine so....going up into those rocks would be tough, shot might not be terrible if hunting these, but retrieving the goat would probably suck lol. i also would imagine the white one you are thinking of would be a mountain goat. not sure though. Very neat pics killer thanks for sharing
