sears mod. 300

i just got a sears model 300 from a friend and i am trying to disassemble the magazine tube but i am having problems. im having trouble finding much on the net about this gun except that it is almost the same as a winchester 1400. if any of yall can offer any help it would be greatly apreciated.

Sears would be a Ted Williams model, might have better luck looking it up with that name
