| Carry and Holster opinions I have a ruger p89 and wanted to know if there are any good holsters for standard carry and also if there were any good holsters for concealed carry. I am looking for a standard holster for things like when I go plinking and such so I do not have to set my gun down on hard surfaces or take the chance of dropping it.. My dad has about knocked it off of the table while we have been shooting and I do not want that.. And I am looking for a conceal holster for just that, conceal carry. I do not mind if its a shoulder piece or a belt piece, but all of the ones I have seen at the local shops are uncomfortable.. Any suggestions? |

| Have you tried an Uncle Mike's Super Slide Belt Holster, size 15? I prefer the Mirage Nylon model because its a little more rigid and give a little better retention than the standard nylon model. High Noon holsters makes decent, reasonably priced holsters for the P89. Don Hume has some nice models for the P89, too. Good luck!

| I also recommend Don Hume Holsters, either a "JIT" Slide or a H715. Both are good CC Holsters and cost less than $30. They compare equally with holsters costing twice as much. Bill |

| You also might want to take a look at the Galco F L E T C H holster. I use this model and don't have any problems at all. |
