| questions about permits? I am going to pick up a handgun for my 21st birthday. I turn 21 in september and I want to get a concealed weapons permit to go with it. I was told that it can take up to 30 days to have the paperwork go threw. I think washington state also has a 30 day handgun waiting period. I was told by a friend of mine that if you have a concealed weapons permit there is no 30 day waiting peirod for handguns. My question is do you have to be 21 to even file for the permit or can I fill out the paper work a month before my birthday so I can pick up my birthday gift on the big day lol? |

| I don't think packing.org works anymore. I guess they had some poor web management and the website just kinda got out of hand. It hasn't been up for a while I think. I know everytime I try it nothing comes up. I would agree with everyone else, contact your local police/sheriff's office and they should answer your questions. Montana is a "shall issue" state, so as long as you meet the requirements where I live, then you can and will be issued one. Where you live might be considerably different. And we all know how much gun laws differ between states ![]() |
