Was the night before a full moon when i was out.I dont know if its that bad.We didnt see much in the way of foxes. But the property owners had laid 1080 around the place 2 weeks before.Saw a heap of bunnies when the wind calmed down a bit.I will say i have noticed full moon nights animals are a bit more skittish.

Have heard of a few people being killed by them, tourists mainly, the poor buggers never knew what hit them.

Heres a news article from a few years ago in the canberra times news paper.
Today a man was attacked and killed by a falling drop bear. The attack happend as the man was walking through lady denman park in canberra.Eye witnesses say the man never had a chance as the dropbear was so big and aggressive.Onlookers ran for their lives as the bear wasnt happy with just one meal and started to look for another. The drop bear was eventually shot after a 6 hour search of the area, the australian armys special forces were called in to dispatch the animal.Residents of the nearby appartment complex say they heard many shots fired and lots of screaming and yelling. The bear was only young to and could have done a lot more damage.
None of the special forces crew were seriously injured, just some major scratches and bites.Im irish murphy reporting to you from canberra.
