I recently inherited a Savage Model 7 that my grandmother gave my grandfather as a gift in 1946. I believe he used it for hunting pheasants.
Anyway, I just brought it over to my friends farm and shot it a bit, and I'm wondering how to disassemble it to clean it. There is what looks like a thumb screw at the back of the barrel and one on the underside next to the magazine
can anyone help me out here? This is my first rifle
