| Help Quickly I found a kimber eclipse custom II for sale locally. It looks brand new in the box. Stainless slide, night sights. Also has two extra wilson mags The guy was asking 925. I offered 750 and we agreed on 800. My dad is buying it, but i'm handling the deal for him. My dad guns= My Guns ![]() Is there anything i should know about the gun? Is 800.00 a decent deal that i could get my money out of?? Good thing is i don't have to pay sales tax so that is 56.00. The mags probably cost 25 each so there is another 50.00. The grips don't look original, but i think i see the originals in the picture wrapped in a plastic bag. |

| Considering new it goes for $1100.00-$1200 bucks, I think you got a deal. And the Wilson mags go for more like $30-$40 bucks. Way to go...

| Sounds like a great buy. Glad you got it. Give us a range report after you shoot it. Good Luck.

| My dad may never get to see this one ![]() The gun is beautiful. It's my new favorite 1911. I honestly must say that if the Taurus had a better trigger and night sights it would be a very close race. The Taurus has pretty much everything the kimber does but cost roughly half the price retail. I got to go run a few round through it the other day and it functioned 100%. The wilson combat mags are also very very nice. They are the easiest mags to load i've ever handled. I have a bunch of 1911 mags now but if i buy more they will definitely be the wilsons. Here's a pic with the rest of my1911's. I love stainless ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Yeah I gotta admit those Wilson mags are the way to go. I even own a few of the 10 ropund mags just so I don't have to reload them as often. Yeah only two more rounds but they are fun to shoot.

| Quote: Nice Rich!!! It's odd, but lots of the dealers around here carry but i've never seen one of the eclipse models. They usually carry the matt finish stainless guns which are nice, but I like the polished look on a 1911 personally. | |

| You guys are making me want to get a stainless 1911 now. I have 2 1911s already, but I don't think 2 is enough.
