Hey thanks! I've been looking online, but I've been having trouble separating the "ads" from real reviews haha. Yes, I've done it before and it can be a real PITA. It will just be myself and a friend. We were planning on "meandering" our way across country, but the gas prices have changed that :-(. Thank you though! |

Go check out Paula Deens resturant in GA. I don't know where it is, but I bet you'll love the food if you go there. She has 2 or 3 shows on the Food Channel...A.H |

stalebiscuit, My parents are being kind enough to pay for my schooling and my housing. That's why I decided to move out to Kaliforniastan. I would not move if I had a choice. I love Georgia. AH: Paula Deens is about 40 minutes southeast from where I currently live and I've been there a few times. It's quite a nice place and the food is delicious. Expensive though... hoowee... it's expensive. It's oen of those "special" occasion kind of things. |

If you like steak, be sure to stop at the Big Texan in Amarillo. If my memory is correct, it is @ exit 73 off of I-40. This is the place that will give you a 4 1\2lb steak dinner for free if you can eat it all in an hour. It's a major tourist trap, but the food is good. If you get there before 2:00 P.M. the prices are much better. BIG TEXAN STEAK RANCH - Welcome

Unfortunately I haven't, but to be honest, the last time I was there was on the Friday before St. Patty's day and Savannah is known for being the most populous city in Georgia during that time period haha. I can tell ya that we had to wait for almost two hours to even be seated, but it was worth it (minus the really drunk college freshmen all over the place :-/). The food was great and the atmosphere very nice. If you're ever out this way I really do recommend it. I wouldn't come in July or August though, it's quite a mosquito laden city and temperatures can get up to 100+ with extremely heavy humidity.

Have a safe trip FS00008. It's only a temporary move until schools done with correct? Not permanently moving there are you? I mean you don't plan on staying out there when you're done with school do you? And I did read about you hoping to get back to Hall county? I only still asked because in a few years, things can change. You could meet a girl? That is if you don't already have a good southern girl. lol Who knows, you just might come to like it out there? OOOOOOO, that's a scary thought taint it. lol

DW Fan, I'm going to be in a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria P71, ex-Columbia County Sheriff's Office Patrol Unit. It's a fine highway cruiser, and I can get pretty decent mileage on the Highway. Plus, it's big, comfy, and steel :-). I had hoped to have enough cash to get a nice, new-ish F-250 Turbodiesel by this month, but I didn't, so I'm still in the Vic. It's no biggie though since I like the Vic just fine. | |

If you had time, and called ahead, me and CGO live just north of your route, and given advance warning, put on a pretty good "Q"!

Good! With directions, we're easy to find, and it's easy to get back to I-40 from here. We'd enjoy the visit, and could get a mug shot of you, and hang it in the shop. We're going to start a rogue's gallery on one wall of the shop, dedicated to G&G visitors. We've got a copy of the Logo to mount at the top, so everyone can see who's been here! And the weather's finally started to moderate, and I'm getting the driveway squared away. Scotty
