Hope you have lots of empty credit cards with high limits then. Cuz there's a lot out there and you gonna be deep in debt then. lol

Congrats on the C&R.

get an AMEX business card....it has no pre-set spending limit, means your credit limit is set after first purchase (small print states the purchase is limited to $500,000)....hehe, hit up an importer for a large bulk sale, then go buck wild trying to shoot em all....after u've spent 3yrs cleaning em....that'd be approx. 10,000 M91/30's at bulk rate. Good Luck cleaning

There was/is one guy selling matching Mosin rifles and revolvers for like $274 bucks and they have all the accessories. He's not to overpriced. Figure, $69.99-$99.00 for the revolver and anywhere from $79.99-$149.00 for the rifle. So that's what, either $149.98-$249.99. So as I said, he's a little high but take me for instance, there isn't really any stores near me that carry or even have had any. And if they did, they'd be priced similarly... If people will pay it, they'll charge it.

You need to order direct from SOG, or I.O inc.. I mean you have that C&R now, you can go anywhere that has them. Why even bother with gunbroker. You can buy them for what the sellers on gunbroker are paying for them so why even look at theirs. lol

Who knows when stuff will really start to dry up but never hurts to play it safe and order twice a month.

ummmm.....hell, i gotta find calculator

EDIT: thats a slight high....but actually it's prolly average compared to what most ppl pay....check the following I've found, this is cheapest FMJ and SP I've found:

7.62x54R Bulgarian Heavy Ball FMJ ammo, brass case, 300 rd tin.

7.62x54R Silver Bear Soft Point, 20rd boxes.

the difference in pricing between FMJ and SP is the FMJ's are $50/300rds; the SP's are $105/300rds.

still havent found calculator....had to use my head, someone correct me if i made a mistake

EDIT: who was it that said to send empty cartridges to them, cuz they reload? my cannister is about 80% full, I'll be boxing em up soon.

As i previously added, the price on 7.62x54R hasnt changed as much as those damn 39's....this is cheapest I've found, depends on if you're gonna buy generic or premium, i'll link cheapest from both:

^$90/500rds^

7.62x39 Golden Tiger FMJ, 1000 round cases.
^or save $.10 and get 1000rds^

that covered the FMJ's....now for the SP's:

7.62x39 Brown Bear SP, 500 rds.

^$100/500rds; $190/1000rds^

now for the HP's:

7.62x39 WOLF bi-metal HP, 20 rd boxes.

^$110/500rds^

7.62x39 WOLF bi-metal HP, 1000 rd cases.

^$190/1000rds^

Now for the cheapest premium brand, based on Federal, Remington, and Winchester:

1) FMJ:
MidwayUSA - Federal American Eagle Ammunition 7.62x39mm Russian 124 Grain Full Metal Jacket Box of 20
^$14^

^$21^
MidwayUSA - Remington Express Ammunition 7.62x39mm Russian 125 Grain Pointed Soft Point Box of 20
^$21.50^
MidwayUSA - Winchester Super-X Ammunition 7.62x39mm Russian 123 Grain Soft Point Box of 20

3) HP:

7.62 x 39? My MN's don't like that stuff. It rattles around in the receiver, and is very distracting... and it will only fire when pointed straight up. What's with that?

The SKS seems to like it.

Seriously, the 300 round tin of Bulgarian HB from J&G is a good deal. The first one I bought last summer cost $30, and now it's $50.

Nuff said.
