| ATI Stocks I have a SMLE MK3 in 22 Hornet (they exist, spare the arguement- Lithgow small arms factory produced them as the Slazenger Hornet after WWII.) Because of the nature of the beast, the scope is mounted quite high, and I think the ATI monte carlo stock could be a good way to get some better cheek-weld and accuracy happening. What I want to know is can I sand the stock out and bed the action for a free floated barrel, or is this just not done on smellys? Any info appreciated, cheers. |

| Banned | Yup. I sharpened a small, flat screwdriver and used it to gently chisel little holes and cuts where I wanted the bedding to go. |
