|  Found a turkey nest
Hey guys, I found a turkey nest of 10 turkey eggs right at the edge of my feild! That is only about 30 yards from my house! I am surprised that a hen would lay her eggs so close to my house. I read that a hen will keep her eggs warm for about a month, then they hatch. So ill be leaving that area alone for a while. More turkeys means more turkey hunting. PS. I thought they were snake eggs at first and I was about to shoot um' up whith the 12 gauge, glad a did my research.

About 3 inches long and almost 2 inches wide, I'll measure tommorrow.

i don't know if its a good idea to keep going around the nest...don't know about turkeys and eggs but don't alot of animals abandon nests, etc. after they have been disturbed?
