Is this a good deal?

There is a M1 carbine in my paper that I've been thinking of buying.
The guys asking for $695.00 and its made by Underwood. IS this a
good deal

Go take a peek at it and see if it is marked as an import. If it isn't, it sounds like a good deal.

Print a copy of the CMP prices, outlining that you can get an Inland Rack Grade for $419..

If it has high muzzle wear it may not be worth $400.00 Origainal carbine barrels are getting pretty expensive, when you can find them

+1 the barrels are getting expensive, fortunatley we have an extra

I've got to agree with Orlando. If the barrel is bad, the carbine isn't worth the price. A replacement barrel will run close to $250 these days.
