If that would have been my house and my wife (X now) knew there were goodies in the wall she would be tearing down the whole house. She was a junkin fool! She filled up a two car garage so fast it was hard to believe.

Good find !

Here's a link to a previous question about AW SPIES on the Gun and Game Forum. It has some good info in it.

http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/sho...-aw-spies.html (AW Spies)

Mooseman684 is very good at this sort thing, any additional info or pictures you can provide will help indentify the firearm.

The Last Guy that found an A.W.Spies gun I sent to the Curator of a firearms Museum, as they are rare, and If in Good Condition, may be Pretty Valuable...

Thanks guys! It looks a lot like the double barrel link! the tage on the bottom of the barrel looks like an eagle on a branch. Also I am not far from Worcester Ma. where it may have been made.!!!!

No problem nevba, the posters on this site are always willing to help out.

Please keep us up to date on what you find out about it, I hate a story without an ending. You might check with local museums and see if they have any suggestions on who could give you a honest appraisal of such a firearm.
