| Banned | This morning was a good morning.I saw two fallow deer. One huge stag with well formed antlers and a doe.I had a shot at the doe as she flew past like lightning but she was too close and fast. The buck was a white blonde colour and went past me at 30m like a white flash. The doe a chocolate colour came 5 seconds after and was very hard to see through my fixed 10 power weaver.I had my 22/250 with me and took a shot at her head neck area on the fly.I missed.I was stoked to have stalked so close.I didnt realise they were there.Had just spooked a fox 50m earlier and wasnt expecting to see anything.I could hear something down the side of the ridge and was just turning slowly to have a look when the buck flew past at mach 3.Top afternoon and top weekend. | Senior Member | Ok, that looks more like a grey/gray donkey then a deer. Well any deer I'm a use to seeing anyhow. lol And he/her is staring right at the camera isn't he/her. And Irish, did you bag either of these 2 you've played spot the deer with or what? Or were you just out sight seeing? lol

| Senior Member | Probably the very first one? I'm not sure and I don't think I played spot the deer in that one? And if it was in either of the 2 recently/tonight, I was more into trying to spot the dam deers lol rather then read the posts/replies. lol Besides, I didn't want to cheat or end up reading someone else saying where they were. So forgive me, but I didn't read anything, just looked at the pictures. lol Sorry 'bout that, and thanks for letting me know anyhow.
