| Member | Tanfoglio TZ75 series 88 Anybody know about Tanfoglio TZ75 series 88? All my life it's been long guns and shotguns - now I have 2 handguns one which needs a gunsmith's attention (ruger speed six) that's a little loose on the cylinder lock up and a 9mm that won't feed. Thing is I have grown fond of shooting handguns after all these years. The 9mm luger was an inheratence. I have disassembled it and cleaned it. It will not feed more than 2 rounds of HP ammo. It's a Tanfoglio TZ75 series 88. Here's the question am I going to have to shoot ball ammo or is there a HP it will feed? Or is this gun just no good at all? Help greatly appreciated ammo get's expensive! |

| Member | Am I going to have to shoot ball ammo? I have a 1911 US Property which will feed nothing but the hardball. I took it to a local gunsmith and asked him what I would have to do to get it to fire HP. He said it would be no problem, would do the work for $35, but it would be a crime to take that gun in original condition (made in 1918) and do that conversion on it. I believed him and now fire only the 230 grain round nose (lead) which I reload. In your case probably it would be a simple matter to have your Tanfoglio modified. |

| Grumpy Old Fart ![]() | I think you've got a ramp problem, but I'm no pro. Hopefully, someone with more experience will help you out. And in case no one has, welcome to G&G!
