Joegun, I tried to reply to you but I guess I am still computer illiterate and couldnt get back. Yes my model 12 is a tack driver, I got a Leupold 3x9x40 on it and I shoot hogs regularly at 200 yards and I know I could shoot longer. I got several Savage rifles and all are tack drivers, and yes I am from Texas, south central Texas just south of Austin. lots of hogs, way too many hogs. my lease is in Gonzales county.
