im not arguing with you, just pointing out to many that handload that the swede in a modern action can be improved upon. my own swedes are loaded slow, and with them i can kill pretty much anything that walks at most reasonable ranges. inside of 4 or 500yds, 3-400fps dont mean squat.

Yeah thats what i always thought too was that American manufacturers loaded 6.5X55 ammo down for the old rifles. If you could still find the 160gr 6.5 bullets it would make a difference when hunting larger game.

Well here they are not lol. I have never seen or read about a box in a suppliers catolauge. So if i ever did get this round cabelas should have em?

Odd that knowbody up here carries them. Oh i just looked and the one shop (six hours away) carries them. By the looks of it its only sierra and hornady. But them having it in their catolauge and them actually having it are too different things.....
