I haven't a problem with useing hose clamps, I use them on my guns.

if that is a 9/16's I needed that bolt last season when my battery clamp came loose. The hose clamps would make a neet emergency kit for your radiator hose. I also like the 2 tone scope with the exposed target turrents.

Couldn't you have slots cut in the base instead of going clear around it?That way there would be no way it could slip on the base. sam.
