S&W Used Prices

Add in local paper for S&W 19-3 357 ($325), 65-3 357 s/s ($350)---comments?

I just bought two Model 10's for $229 and $239. Based on that, I would say that $100 or so more is probably fair. I recently saw a Ruger Security Six in real good shapr for $289. You can probably talk the seller down a bit.

Depending on how badly he needs to sell, and many are selling right now, you can get a deal.

An S&W m19 in excellent condition would be a steal for that price. The 2 1/2" in particular is a very nice piece for packing. I have an m66, SS version of the m19, that I often use for CCW.

Saw a M19-2 last week for $499, they are even higher on the auction sites.

S&W purchase



I just purchased a S&W 686 6" barrel for $400 at a local show. I consider it a good buy.

I bought my 686 in the mid 1980's for $400 new and have put over 5000 rounds through it! You got a deal! Now we need a range report on it.

I would have a hard time getting him to ship to me. I founf a 2 1/2 model 19 round butt for 379.00 and I thought that was a steal.
