First, YOU can do a professional-grade cold blue job. You MUST take a lot of care when doing it, though--but you can get some really good results.
I don't really have the time right now, but I will post--today--a guide to cold bluing that will have your guns looking REALLY nice! (Plus, the blue is DURABLE!)
