the big e part is because I am a big guy and my name is Eric.... the 64 comes from my Highschool days, It was my Jersey number for football...and for what I shoot...
I am mostly into building/shooting/collecting the AK-47 variants... I bit the bug about 2 years ago and havent been able to stop since ... I also recently bought my first RIA 1911 a1... !!!! of a nice pistol... other than that I have been hunting all my life and have acquired tons of shotguns, deer rifles, 22's, and muzzleloaders...

AKitis. A great desease to have.
Seems like we all have some type of itis.
I have Garanditis and C&R-itis. Others here have Mosinits and Mauserits.
Those AKs are a hoot to shoot! If you have the open space availabe, you can blast and blast. Better than a Ruger 10-22 on steriods.
My two sons and I have SKSs. Great way to relax and go down to the river and sling some lead.
I built one AK from Hungarian kit. I vowed never to do that again. It shoots. Thats all I can say for it, totally inaccurate.

Welcome aboard, newcomers! And a big ole howdy from Oklahoma! Enjoy your stay here, and get to know everyone. This is gun lover paradise. If you have a question, you can find someone here with the answer. And you might be able to help someone else. That's what's so nice about the forum, learning and helping other shooters!

Welcome Bige64 and Simona, we have a lot of nice folks here so jump right in and comment. Simona, don't worry about the English, a lot of us don't do too well with it either. Enjoy the forum.
