Hey guys I'm new to the forum. I was looking at getting a WASR-10 and Found this thread. After looking at what you guys had to say i was currious where I could find a Yugo underfolder? I looked on the net and only other forums were selling them in the WTS sections. It said somewhere up above that you could get the yugo underfolder for like 100 dollars more than the 350 dollar wasr-10... where can i find one with the stuff for that? also, I went to the centuryarm site and you have to be a dealer to buy guns... so what am I left with here guys... also, my dad has a mak 90 and it is a very very very well put together gun ... does the yugo compair? and my brother has the romanian one and its not the nicest... the bolt hangs on the hammer when you cock it back ya know.

I'm new but where can I get a decent priced underfolder? I saw someone on this thread say you can get them for like 400 or 450 dollars... where at? I went to this century arms and they only sell to gun sellers or something so where can I get one for decently cheap.

Also, my pops has a mac90 and its a really nicely done gun. Does the yugo compair with the quality?

$300
shoots fine.

it sounds like you are talking about a broken rifle.

i dont shoot it much anymore because just about any bolt rifle is more accurate than an ak.
all of my bolts are .
my 308 saiga does ok
1 1/2 MOA

GP wasr10/63 is mil spec'd. A lot of care was put into them. Very minimal imperfections. No canted sights or gas block. Sights almost dead on at 100 yrds wo/adjusting. Zero misfires or jams execpt for a bad Wolf round which I recycled and it went boom. Matching wood which looks awsome. Tapco G2 fcg. Chrome lined barrel. Beefed up front trunnion. But like all AKs in the US they'r casterated by B.A.T.F. and parts compliance crap. Love my 10/63. I will admit that that Century's hammer was too long and hit high on the bolt more than it did on the firing-pin but dremeled that issue away in 10 mins. This rifle is square from butt stock to muzzle.

You will have to Google that question. Type "GP WASR10/63 prices" will give you some leads. But the factory that made the the WASR in Romania is switching to making auto parts so I don't know whats available for low cost AK. You can other varients like STG 2000 fairly cheap but I don't much about them. I think theyr WASR10/63s with plastic furniture not wood and other minor differences. I could be wrong and usually am.lol Good shoping.

I dunno, guys. I wasn't expecting much from my WASR-10 when I bought it, I just got it as a fun gun. But it floored me how accurate it was. Mine is pretty darn tight. No matter what AK I had though, I'd still reach for my K31 if I was shooting for marksmanship. If I want to blow off steam and just leave the range with a smile, though, any AK will do.

Ok, well I've looked around and what is the difference between the GP WASR-10 and the GP WASR-10/63 ? This is because I can't seem to find the 10/63 call out and I've only found the GP model?

I had a WASR-10 that shot so off target I was hitting trees behind me. I would aim at the target and hit a tree behind me. (well maybe not quite that bad).

I need to get the connector for my digital camera lol... I can spend 420 bucks on this rifle but not 20 bucks on a connector lol. I'll see what I can come up with.

Maybe you should try turning it around.
