Stupid Question

Ok guys, I know this is a stupid question, but I'm going to go ahead and ask it. I mean, it's not like I've never asked a stupid question before, just ask my wife.

How do you pronounce FEG? Is it "F", "E", "G" like the initials, or is it FEG, like egg? Or, is pronounced totally different? Redneck minds just have to know.

Thanks for entertaining me guys.

I am a new owner of the R61 and I have been calling it "F..E..G" but heck maybe I'm wrong..perhaps both ways are right, lol.

Talking

Everybody that I spoke to at the last Crossroads Gun Show were calling them FIGs. Kept cracking me up.

We have a Hungarian in our building, he's not a 'gun' guy but if you were to say it as a word FEG w/ the little 'thingy' over the E it would be pronounced FEEG. But he thinks that when he lived in Hungary, they say F.E.G.

Sounds like a valid question to me and I always call them f-e-g. By the way I always ask questions like these, there are no stupid questions except when you don't ask them to find out.

Good point... I still have no idea how the hell to pronounce "Mosin-Nagant".

I walk in and say it exactly like it is spelled and half the people look at me like I'm from another planet.

Chris, Thank you guys for your service to our country. Stay safe and hurry home. My 4 year old grandaughter saw some reservist the other day in uniform, and asked me if they were Heroes. I told her Yes that all men and women in the service were Heroes. She's a pretty smart kid.
