| Hello? What has happened to this forum? When I first joined these forum this was full of questions answers and everything else that comes comes to mind. But now it is a ghost town, has every one stopped shooting their 1903 thru 1903A4s and turned them into wall hangers? Arent you alittle interested in the rifles you own and shoot? This is a piece of American history and had done alot to help form the present as we know it, as it fought in two world wars. Lets get busy here, and get this forum going like it was. And get it back to the great scorce of info and facts that it was and not the blank screen that it has become.

| Well its good to see that Someone is out there. I have two my self, a Remington 03A3, 1943 production with scant stock. And a Springfeild 1903, 1918 production that was rebuilt by Remington for WWII with a RA 6-42 barrel and S stock and RLB inspection stamp. And had both out today along with my Garands at the rod and gun club here on Ft Bragg for a bit till it rained on my parade. But a good day none the less.

| After CMP had and sold all those 03's there would of been alot of people asking questions, but it seems to have had the opposite effect. With little or no questions from the new owners.

| What's an A3? Isn't that like asking what gun was the Garand's daddy? LOL I couldn't resist to show ya a couple of pics of my A3....one.....smooth....'don't get in front of the muzzle'....shooting gun! yepper....fer sure! For those without one....please consider looking into getting one. Mine has the rare OD green 'bluing' and it's, I'd say, 75-85% on the metal and the stock is a replacement, though. It's tight...reminds me of my old high school sweetheart.......sorry, but I mean 'she's a sweet gun.

If interested PM. me and Ill give you his address and phone #. And this guy is an honest straight shooter and stands behind all he sells and wont embellish what he has . Let me know. | I've got a nice original 03A3 and a decent WWII rebuilt Rock Island with a finger grip stock. Both shoot better than I can and I shoot both under 1 inch at 100! I can't ask for better than that. |
