The estimate page said I would get like 450. I'm probably not going to get a gun unless I can find a cheap used 223 for plinking (want something not as wimpy as 22lr and reloadable). I really want the xr100 but too much money. I'll probably just get another hundred or two casings for my Mosin reloads, a couple mags for my 22, decent cleaning rods, good trigger for my m91. Half the money there.

Well gents, I know that is going to make most of you cringe. Ive spent mine on another project rifle for my grandson. He will be 12 next year.

M44 nagant.
Richards Microfit Gunstock-Wildcat thumbhole-blue laminate
matching recoil pad
Bushnell 4-12 AO scope
Huber trigger

When I am done, he should have a nice rifle to go hunting with.

Looks like our national debt bought me an Interarms Mark X Mini Mauser in 223 with a simmons 3-9x40 scope and 100 rounds of ammo for (after tax) a little over my $453. Now I can enjoy working on my reloads for much cheaper, with much better accuracy, and with much less pain than the ones for my Mosins.

Of course it's raining today.

And of course my dad took the good camera today.

I put most of mine in the stock market. Smith & Wesson and a Chineese mutual fund. I'll let China buy my next gun.

Agreed. My personal choice would be to get a left-handed Savage Arms Model 10FLP. It's just a tad over $600 but I've seen them go for less online.

My grandsons m44 is complete except for the stock. It has been cleaned, hot blued, new huber trigger, new bolt handle, and scoped. As soon as the Richards gunstock arrives I will put on a hot BLO finish and polish it in after bedding the action.
