Lithuanian Police .40cal HI-POWER

Has anyone tested the Lithuanian Police FEG 40 cal Hi-Power. I'm thinking of ordering one from SOG. The price seems reasonable.

I haven't but I hear they are real nice. The Hi-Power .40 is the finest .40 made in my opinion. I had one for 2 years and regret the day I had to part with it.

FEG 40 cal

I had a chance to check out this pistol at our local gun shop recently and noticed that the slide doesn't seem to be as heavy as a real 40 cal Hi-Power. It looked more like an inexpensive conversion from a 9mm. There are only 2 locking groove for the barrel on the slide instead of 3 in the Browning 40 cal. I wonder how long the pistol would last shooting the 40 cal cartridge with this type of slide.

I wish I can find an FEG GKK40, it's the same as the GKK 45 but in 40 cal. It was imported for a very short time in 1994 - 95 according to my gun value book, but I have never seen one for sale.
