Taurus Model 94

Can't make up my mind whether I want the 4" or 5" barrel. Anyone own either? All the gun stores carry are the 2" snubs, so I have to order the one I want and I'm concerned about how clunky the longer barrel may make the gun feel. The 4" looks about right.

I have the snubbie Ultra-Lite 9 and I love it. I've pondered getting another 94 with a longer barrel and I would choose the 4", too. Although I can't say definitively because I haven't handled one, but I think the 4" would be perfect.

I'd base the decision on the use of the gun. For field carry the 4" would be more convenient. For range use the 5" is potentially more accurate with its longer sight plane.

That's my dilemma, I want both.

The model 94 ultra light 2" is awesome hit .22 target spinner @ 30 yards that's awesome for a snub y. Plus it is great for summer carry when you don't want to carry the big guy. Double action trigger is awesome

I would go 4 " if you want it for both. 5" would be very tough for carry. Even 4" would be pushing it.

I don't doubt that they are a hot seller. I had a High Standard 9 shot .22 with snub barrel from early 60's, I loved that gun because it was sooooooo tiny and the fixed sights were dead on at 25 yards. It was more accurate than my Ruger Mark 2. The Taurus .22's look nice, but they are nowhere near as small, plus the High Standard had bird's eye grips that fit the hand perfectly, but took up no space.
My stupit 15 year old grandson stole it . Now I want to kill him....slowly.
